My very first post

As a Carolina Digital Humanities Initiative Fellow, I worked on my digital history project to study school desegregation experiences in New Orleans during Reconstruction. I am very excited that I can finally publish my project website: “The Fillmore Boys School in 1877: Racial Integration, Creoles of Color and the End of Reconstruction in New Orleans.”

The website is far from perfect, and I am still planning to add more contents and fix the data later. Your advice, feedback and comments would be very appreciated. After all, it is just a starting point to learn history in new ways…
